ABOUT OUR HOMESTEAD
In 2018 we have invested over $50k to develop our 1 acre homestead into a productive permaculture small demonstration farm. We are investing another $50k+ in 2019 to develop all the permaculture systems possible in an urban Southern California setting on our site. On top of the permaculture systems already existing (kitchen gardens, orchards, compost and vermicompost systems, water harvesting, renewable energy and community educational spaces), our space will feature food and medicine market gardens, nursery focused on permaculture plants for southern california, small scale commercial composting systems, herbalism lab, natural local material (cob) structures, chickens, and larger community gathering and mentoring spaces. We envision our homestead as a space for effective community education, urban farming and regenerative leadership training.  We invite you to learn with us and discover the regenerative and sustainable future that is possible for you and our shared environment and community with permaculture design and practice.
