Raw Honey

$27.00

Honey is one of the oldest forms of medicine available to humans.  For thousands of years, we’ve been courting the honeybee to collect this sweet nectar.  One honeybee creates only 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in her entire life, thus this beautiful medicine should be used and loved with care and reverence.

Our beehives are cared for naturally and treatment free.  We allow our bees to grow and forage how they please, never administering antibiotics or pest applications.  When it is time to harvest honey, we only take what is in true abundance, always leaving more than enough for the bees to eat throughout the year.

Our beehives are also rescued colonies from unwanted spaces.  We removed the colonies from the walls of homes, irrigation boxes, hot tubs, bushes, trees, you name it.  They are also colonies that are adapted to our region and allowed to reproduce as they please.

Price: $20

Size: 6 oz raw, unfiltered

Blessed Bee Salve

$22.00

A luscious combination of olive oil, beeswax , Calendula, Comfrey, Yarrow and St. John’s Wort.  This is our favorite tool for daily face and body skin care.  Olive oil hydrates skin while beeswax gives a protective barrier to moisture loss and prevents dryness.  The blend of herbs rebuilds skin cells, disinfects, and heals scars, abrasions, and scabs.  Also effective on eczema, calluses, extreme dryness/peeling, sunburns and acne.  It’s a beautiful powerhouse!

WE ARE BUILDING RESILIENCE IN COMMUNITY
WE SHALL BUILD RESILIENCE - A FREE WEBINAR SERIES WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A "RESILIENCE COMMUNITY"
We started the Resilience Community with a FREE 10 webinar series on our social media channels, we named "we shall build resilience". Our intention with the series is to provide learning opportunities to people through the lenses of Permaculture Homesteading on  gardening, preserving foods, making medicine, other related subjects, including building community around regeneration and sustainability. Beyond the series we aim to establish a network of mutually supporting and collaborating individuals with knowledge, skills and wisdom to take regenerative action in their lives and communities for the benefit of all life. We believe that we can create a healthy, abundant, thriving life for all, and we believe it starts with earth and people centered action driven learning.
JOIN THE "RESILIENCE COMMUNITY"
You are invited to watch the live free webinar series every Thursday at 2 pm on our social media channels, and use the content in any way you'd like and decide to. . Find us on Facebook or Instagram at @aboutandforsustainability. Instagram live sessions disappear in 24 hours and the quality of the Facebook live deteriorates in time (we might also take these down in time).  If you'd like to get more out of this learning we are offering for free to the world, such as a typed summary of the subjects discussed for each webinar session, with links to the resources we discuss, as well as other content we will create specifically for this series and beyond, and most importantly, if you can commit to taking the path of resilience in community, you can join the Resilience Community (a members only platform - also completely free, and asking for your commitment to life and this community and beyond - you can opt out anytime).
HOW TO JOIN THE RESILIENCE COMMUNITY?
1. Read & understand what we are offering and what we are asking in the paragraphs above.
2. Watch the first Webinar in the series on our facebook page (we will do our best to have it uploaded here and or on other platforms): https://www.facebook.com/aboutandforsustainability/videos/718025182270345/
3. Fill out and answer the questions in this survey (some questions are very specific to the video) + most importantly, agree to the terms for being part of the community: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSek_O8C_RsxDs31QKPLu5HD8LhcFi16BlC5N4mwNYFROZMeHQ/viewform

OUR CROWDFUND CAMPAIGN IS LIVE
We created a crowdfund campaign that gives more than it asks for. We are crowdfunding to expand our regenerative and sustainability based impact from our new 40 acres project, Desert Bloom Farm. Our goal is to transform this space into a Permaculture & Regenerative Research & Education Farm, from where we will demonstrate farming that enhances and sustains the health of natural ecosystems, and also educate and train young farmers, designers, eco entrepreneurs and leaders as stewards of our shared environment and communities. We have the space, the knowledge,  the experience and the commitment to make it happen. We need your support to take our work that benefits us all to the next level.

PERMACULTURE REGENERATIVE
FARMING & EDUCATION

After close to a decade of enhancing human potential and ecosystems health through education and ecological design, we are expanding our regenerative footprint, from a 1 acre suburban homestead to a 40 acres rural farm.
We are in the process of designing and transforming this space to bring our vision of regenerating nature and people to life. This space will feature regenerative farming practices, greening the desert, ecosystems restoration, educational experiences and healing retreats.
All will be shared continuously with our expanding community, including you! Stay Tuned!
