CLARYFYING DEFINITIONS
We define sustainability as an ability to endure and to continue in an optimum state of being. This gives us the power to continuously envision, evolve and pursue what optimum shall be (unlike the mainstream definitions and explanations that miss this part of the sustainability concept). We add to sustainability an additional definition, as the ability to nourish and support life in its optimum state indefinitely. In this stated context, we add embedded continuous regeneration, and define it as regenerative, restorative, approaches, that allow for adaptability, dynamism, emergent properties and resilience, in the pursuit of an ever evolving optimum state of being. For us, sustainability encompasses regeneration!
COURSE DETAILS
This interactive course goes beyond knowledge about sustainability, regeneration, and leadership. It provides practical active individual and community learning exercises for the development, improvement and/or expansion of skills in these realms. The course combines concepts of personal and professional growth, leadership, holistic analysis, systems thinking, community building, ecological understanding, permaculture approaches and regenerative practice in 16 learning Modules. Each Module provides theories, philosophies, principles, techniques and practical applications of close to 50 leadership, sustainability & regenerative literacy skills. For each Module, in addition to the interactions and learning in the the live sessions, participants are invited to engage in and complete weekly tasks for deeper understanding and development of mastery of the presented skills. In the process of completing the tasks for each Module, participants can build a sustainability & regeneration literacy portfolio by recording and sharing their actions and/or reflections to a larger community.

Each of the 16 weekly modules includes:
1 weekly 2.5 hours live session - interactive lecture, exercises and discussion (recorded for future reference)
