COLLABORATIVE ACTION IS EFFORTLESS ACTION
SEEKING TEACHERS, FACILITATORS, STUDENTS AND SPONSORS

If you have experienced the profound joy, hope and power of collaborative action and shared impact, you know that it is addictive! It is addictive because that is what we are wired for, especially for creating positive and long lasting healing transformations in our life-sustaining ecosystems and communities. Once you experience it, you get to yearn for it as an ultimate and continuous life purpose and drive. The beauty of collaborative action for the benefit of all life is that it is effortless action. Taoist philosophy calls that Wu Wei, a creative participation in the cosmos in a manner that coheres with the flow of nature. My students and I have explored this concept deeply in the Sustainability Literacy for a Regenerative World course - you can take a peak at one of the slides that helped us focus that conversation below.
Collaborative action for the benefit of all life is effortless action and it is conducive to joy, hope and power.

Have you experienced this? I know that there is a lack of experiencing joy, hope and power in the world in general - I see it, I hear it, I feel it, I experience it. I know that life in its highest potential cannot continue when that lack exists. I have lived it growing up in a third world country under a totalitarian regime - people were sad, unfulfilled, borderline desperate, scared and everything else that comes with that, and ultimately when a limit was reached they took collective action. Unfortunately the action was violent and dipped in blood. Even more importantly, the change created was not a sustainability based and regenerative one to benefit all - in fact some say that the environmental and social conditions in my mother country are actually way worse than before our people revolted 30 years ago. And that is what happens in the absence of collaborative action for the benefit of all life. In my humble opinion: this scenario can and indeed is happening around the world as we speak - continuous ecological and social degradation to the detriment of all.

I prefer an abundance of joyous, hopeful and powerful people living in a world of healthy, abundant and thriving ecosystems and communities. My experience tells me that we can make that happen with collaborative action aimed at the benefit of all life. In 5 years of impact with my creation About And For Sustainability, 8 years of leading and teaching Permaculture courses, and over a decade of work with the design, development and implementation of regenerative educational and training programs in academic, government, non-profit and business environments, I have experienced the power of it. You can see an example of it on the side by side slides of my 2018 Impact Report, the first slide shows a breakdown of the impact - and much of it continues to have ripple effects - and the second slide shows how it was achieved as a collaborative effort.

Our 5 years Impact Report will be out shortly and it will tell an even more compelling story of the shared sustainable future collaborative action is creating. I invite you to look forward to that and be ready to reserve your spot for the public presentation. It will be paradigm shifting!

I am inviting you to test this addictive behavior, lifestyle and philosophy. I am inviting you to see, hear, feel, and experience if participating in collaborative action for the benefit of all life brings you and others joy, hope and power, and if indeed it creates positive and long lasting healing transformations in our life-sustaining ecosystems and communities.

You can do this completely on your own: Take the lead and create a group or movement of your own to take collaborative action for the benefit of all life. Invite me to be part of it if you’d like - I will pass your project through the lenses of effortless action and the benefit of all life and see if and in what capacity I can join it. Also, if you need any resources on how to get started, reach out and I will share one powerful resource with you!

Join my work and make it ours! I already have a good head start with work that is making a lot of positive and long lasting environmental and social impact. In fact we are preparing to take it all to the next level by putting even more of our co-creations and revenue back into regenerative transformations of ecosystems and communities around the world (you will read about our heightened giving back in a future newsletter). For now, here are the collaborative actions for shared impact options I am inviting you to so far:
  1. Share on the regular about our life transforming courses - our permaculture courses create immense positive impact in our shared environments and communities. Read their descriptions to understand more on how they do that. Observe that we are in Super Early Bird pricing for some of the courses till November 1st - people could get these $2,400 courses for $1,600, and we also have payment plans and scholarships. You could be the reason someone went through a life transforming and leadership building course. All you have to do is share - I attached a picture poster you could share via email, social media or even print below.
  2. Complete the Affiliate Program Form if you’d like to make income while creating shared environmental and social impact by promoting and/or being an ambassador for our courses. We offer a 30% revenue share at this point! We will reach out with a few more questions, send you an agreement to see if you find it to be a good fit to work with us, and ultimately send you an affiliate package including codes to incentivize your community with your personal discounts.
  3. Join one of our existing permaculture courses as a student to build your collaborative action skills at higher levels. We are offering 4 different options, including a 2 weeks on-farm intensive experience, a hybrid on-farm/online deep-dive course and a full 1 year advanced all online certification course. All of our courses deal with real life projects with infinite and indefinite life-sustaining effects in the world. Use code LUCIAN20 for 20% till November 1st or before 8 more people use it.
  4. Reach out if you’d like to join our team of instructors and/or facilitators for the permaculture courses. Please include a paragraph (or more) on what you’d like to help with, plus a resume or paragraph on your experience, and any other details you think should be included. At this point we are looking for people with experience in the realm of permaculture.
  5. Donate to support our Scholarships! We have only 1 scholarship application for one of the courses so far and we would love to grant at least 2 full, and 2 partial scholarships per course! Help us make it happen!
  6. Reach out with any other idea on how to increase the impact of our work together.

I will leave it up to you to join in this work!
I pray you will!
